BOVPN Gateway Name Change

Hi,

I have a requirement to change the BOVPN Gateway name. No other config change is required.

Anyone got a way of doing this without rebuilding the config (name is not editable).

While not recommended, you can modify the .xml file with a text editor, which should allow such a change using find/replace.
Some use Notepad++ as this type of text editor.
Always have a current good backup of the .xml file prior to making any change such as this.
You can use WSM Policy Manager or the Web UI to load a different config onto your firewall.
Consider also making an image backup prior to loading the new config.

Be careful, should you use this method to make this change.

The only way to do this is to re-create the gateway and tunnel.

I would suggest using WSM to edit the tunnel and gateway config, as it will allow you to remove the old one, and add the new one, all in one save step which minimizes the time the tunnel might be down.
