If you aren't running into, or aren't concerned about the issues posted there for 12.8 U1, then there's no real reason to upgrade and you can skip that release.

Thanks James, I am aware of the reason for this update and have been eagerly awaiting it as I have around a dozen units that are affected.
I was merely asking if anyone has installed the update hoping that it would give us an idea of it's stability.
FYI if anyone else is seeking stability info on this update it seems to have cured our BOVPN issues into Azure and as of yet there are no other issues.
Whilst not an Azure VPN issue, we had been experiencing IKEv2 BOVPN drops (to a third party) with the 12.8 update, this has been resolved for us since applying 12.8 update 1.

I've rolled it out on my firewalls. The update is a bugfix release for a few issues.
I'd suggest taking a look at the release notes at:
