Unit Recommendation
Good Morning,
We have two fiber circuits at 1 Gig Speeds and we BGP Peer with both. We have partial routes with one carrier and full routes with another. We currently have the M370 but its running with high memory usage. Is this normal? Is there another unit that we should be using instead of the 370?
Thanks!

How are you identifying the high memory utilization? FSM Status Report?
And what specific value(s) are of concern?
Hi Bruce. Just via the Web Interface. Memory usage is around 80-92%. May not be an issue at all but I just wanted to verify.
Review this:
Firebox Memory graph does not accurately show available system memory

And see Ralph's post here:

Ok thanks!
To me, these values are not of concern.

The firewall uses RAM as "scratch space" for quite a few processes -- things like AV scanning, APT blocker, DLP, etc will hold files being scanned in memory while the scan happens.
Unless you're seeing crashes or errors related to the system actually being out of memory, the ranges you're seeing are completely normal. The system should manage the amount of memory it's using -- as the OS and services are purpose built for that hardware.
