i would like to run a policy check, sadly i only get a spoofing attack. i cant figure out the right interface to use in the command. i know its from a vlan but everytime i type it in, watchguard says the interface doesnt exist.
ok i got it, if you want to run a policy check and you have spoofing-check enabled. the first thing that will happen is there will always be the same result
Type : Security
Name : Spoofing Attack
Action : Denied
You need to define the exact interface, which in my case is a vlan.
policy-check interface-name ping|tcp|udp source_ip destination_ip source_port destination_port
the interface_name == vlan name
Thanks for clarifying. Now, I know that to run Policy Checker, I should specify my parameters first:
Source and destination IP address
Source and destination port
