Allowing custom URIs on the FireCloud client
I need the ability to launch the custom URI "swyxware://auth" for Enreach / Swyx authentication. With the VPN disabled, the authentication works without any issues.
At the moment, I cannot find an option to configure this.
Does anyone have an idea how this can be set up?

The issue was successfully resolved by using the external IP address in combination with a tunnel bypass.

Custom URI schemes are handled locally by Windows, and the VPN software can interfere by restricting application launches, DNS resolution, or access to the authentication service.
I would compare the behavior with:
- VPN connected but split tunneling enabled.
- VPN connected with the Swyx client/authentication servers excluded.
- VPN connected using a different profile.
If only the VPN state changes the result, I would focus on the VPN firewall/security module rather than Swyx configuration.
