Ensuring network redundancy
Hi all
To ensure redundancy we've got two components of eacht type. Our Fireboxes are clustered in active/passive mode. We have split our internal connection into 3 VLAN's on one internal ethernet port.
Is it possible to assign the same VLAN-config to a second internal ethernet port so we can connect each of those internal ports to a separate switch? Otherwise there still is a single point of failure, which we want to avoid.
I hope the setup is clear with my explanation.
Thank you in advance
Maarten

Yes.
For example, I have my trusted VLAN assigned to 4 interfaces.
You can also use a link aggregation if your switch(es) support it.

Thank you for the responses! I'll look into the link aggregation, I think they do support that.
