Dimension dropping TLS 1.0 and 1.1 support

I'm wondering if anyone knows if Dimension has removed support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 yet (or if it's in the next release)...
I checked all the release notes and didn't find it.

    Hi @BrianSteingraber

That's currently a feature request, and is known in our system as FBX-19213.

It's currently being worked on, but I don't have a tentative date yet.

By default, Dimension will attempt to connect via TLS 1.2. 1.1 and 1.0 are used as fallbacks for compatibility.

  • Any news on FBX-19213 ?

You can disable tls 1.0. I guess that leaves 1.1 and 1.2 enabled.

  • Yes, TLS 1.0 can be disabled but not TLS 1.1

@Jockeman It's currently targeted for Dimension 2.2.1. I don't have a release date for that version yet.

If you'd like to follow that feature request, please create a support case and mention FBX-19213 somewhere in the ticket -- the tech that is assigned the case can set this up for you.

  • Dimension 2.2.1 has just been released, with this fix:

The Dimension web server now supports TLS v1.2 as the minimum protocol version. [FBX-19213]
