Watchguard to OPNsense Firewall VPN IPSEC IKE2

Hello everyone in the forum,

I am currently trying to establish an IPsec IKEv2 connection between an OPNsense firewall and a Fritzbox. However, the connection setup is not working and I get the error message "no proposal sent".

Does anyone perhaps have a guide or instructions on what I need to configure in the OPNsense firewall so that the connection works?

    We have an integration guide for pfSense, but not OpenSense.

    The error "no proposal sent" suggests that a phase1 or phase2 proposal wasn't set up on one of the endpoints. Since the firebox will not allow you to save with an incomplete BOVPN set up, it's likely the incomplete setup is on the Opensense device. If the error message was displayed by the WatchGuard, the problem is on the opposite side.

    Check your phase 1 and 2 proposals and make sure the settings match what you have configured on the WatchGuard.
