Blocking DeepSeek with watchguard

There is a lot of talk about the Chinese AI-bot DeepSeek and its use. The organization is now considering blocking DeepSeek. We can of course add the URL to blocked sites. But is this enough?

For most administrators, blocking the FQDNs that deepseek accesses is enough to block access to it.
There is an request to add this to application control (this is request FBX-28925.)

Please open a support case and mention FBX-28925 if you'd like to track that request.
