WebBlocker add new subcategories
New subcategories were added to webblocker, but allowed additions were made.
How can I find out what the new subcategories were?
Is there a way that when new categories are added, a report is sent or they are added in a blocked way by default.
Here an example, i was denny Social Web - Faceboo and were add new subcategory from Facebook allowed.

Hello @fafranqueljose
You can find the new categories listed in the release notes for the version they were added in:
(Enhancements and Resolved Issues in Fireware v12.10.2)
https://www.watchguard.com/support/release-notes/fireware/12/en-US/EN_ReleaseNotes_Fireware_12_10_2/index.html#Fireware/en-US/resolved_issues.html
WebBlocker now supports new Social Web, Collaboration - Office, Information Technology, and Internet Watch Foundation categories and subcategories. [FBX-26028, FBX-26020]
For a full listing of each category including a description of each, please see the help article here:
(About WebBlocker Categories)

If you are already denying the global facebook item, it's unlikely that users will be able to access the other subcategories, and thus will not appear on your reports.

Well, that's something I can understand, but I haven't updated my firebox software yet, it's still on version 12.8.2 (Build 666661),
So the questions would be:
1. Why were new subcategories added to a webblocker from a previous version?
2. What can I do so that when they are added they are not added in allowed mode?
Forcepoint is the provider of web site categorizations.
Forcepoint has provided these additional categories.
When you upgrade to v12.10.2 or later, these new categories will be automatically added and allowed.
You you will need to modify your config at that time to block unwanted new categories.
Hi @fafranqueljose
1.If the firewall doesn't know what the category is, it'll treat the site as uncategorized.
The best course of action would be to upgrade your firewall so that you can set those categories as you see fit for your network.
