Connection to log server refused
I have a log server that's been up and running for years with a single M270 connected.
I wanted to add a second firebox to this log server but I forgot the Authentication key, so I changed it both on Log Server -> Server Settings and on M270.
As soon as I saved these changes the firebox has not been able to connect to log server anymore.
In log server I see it as "not connected" and in System Manager -> Status Report I see:
First log server Instance
Primary Server: 192.168.100.12
Primary server error: Connection refused
Status: Not Connected
Active: None
Global Flags: (0x0000)
I also restarted all Watchguard related services on the Windows machine running Log Server.
Is there a way to troubleshoot connection to log server?
Thank you!
Roberto

Not that I have seen.
Try changing or re-entering the desired key again via copy & paste to both locations.
Hi @Roberto
It may help to turn logging off on the firewall to your log server, save, and re-enable it -- that'll restart the entire connection process.
We don't support the Windows log/report server anymore, and it hasn't been updated in several years.
If you're able to run Dimension, I would suggest looking into setting one of those servers up.
