Take control of Firebox?
I just inherited a network and the boss only has the passphrase that lets me look at the configuration and view settings. Is there any way I can make changes with just that passphrase?

Hello Greg,
The firebox is a security device and only an Admin account allows for changes to the firebox. To get access to the firebox you will need to reset the firebox to default, which will reset the default Admin account to its default settings. However, as you have the Status passphrase (the one that lets you see the settings) you can save a copy of the current config file and load it back onto the firebox after it has been reset.
Please note that the config (.xml) does not store user information in it, so restoring the config file after resetting the firebox will change the passphrases.
