Removing Retired and Unallocated Firebox from WatchGuard Cloud

I have retired and unallocated 3 Fireboxes in my account, but I do not see a way to remove them from WatchGuard Cloud. Am I missing something? They currently show up in Overview > Inventory > Firebox > Unallocated.

If they aren't removed via the retirement process, create a "customer care" type support case and mention the names and serial numbers of the firewalls that aren't being removed. They can be manually removed.

Old thread but I wanted to follow up. I contacted support and their response was that they cannot be removed from WG Cloud. This makes no sense as it throws off my dashboard showing that I have more devices than I do.

    From support:
"these units are over 30 days of activation retiring these units is the only process that can be done but they can't be removed from the cloud you don't need to add the license to them but we can't remove them from that side."

Hi @Michael_McGovern I'll pass your feedback along to the cloud team.

  • Did this ever get resolved? Looks like we are still unable to remove them, at least I'm not seeing any way to do it.

    Hi @Paul_R_Canada
If you're having issues removing a device, please create a support case -- our customer care team can help get the device removed from your account.
