Using Firebox T40 after subscription expires
Hi.
I didn't renew any of the subscription services or support on my Firebox T40 after the initial year. I had hoped to use the device as a basic firewall but found on the day of expiration that the site lost most internet access.
Support were good enough to give a one month extension but now I need to get the thing setup so that it can work without any further subscription.
I've been told via my supplier that WebBlocker was likely the issue, but I've no guidance on what to do about it.
Is there any formal guidance on what needs to be disabled / reconfigured to allow the device to continue working without subscription services?

Basic firewall functions will continue to work after the support subscription expires.
Note that you can not upgrade your firewall firmware without an active support subscription - see the Support section in the following.
Any optional security subscriptions won't work after expiration.

The only issue I can think of that would halt like this would be webblocker if you have license enforcement turned on.
If that's the case, setting the option inside webblocker to bypass or turning off webblocker for those policies should allow your traffic to flow.
