Force Vpn when device connects to wifi

Is there a way to trigger MUVPN when say a laptop changes media state- Most VPN's have this option. If a user is connected to corporate via LAN connection nothing needs to happen- If that user goes outside corporate Lan and connects to a Non corporate Wi-Fi.... then I want the vpn to automatically be forced on. Anyone have a way of doing this?

The WatchGuard/NCP IPSec (IKEv1) client can do this, but requires a bit of extra legwork as their system requires that you install their FND (Friendly Network Detection) server for the VPN client to authenticate itself to. The WatchGuard/NCP VPN client can be downloaded via software.watchguard.com and comes with a 30 day trial if you'd like to take a look at it.

The built in OS clients (IKEv2, L2TP) and SSLVPN do not currently have a way of doing this.
