TDR on SQL Instance

I would like to know if there are good practices for setting exclusions in the TDR or can I follow the product manufacturer's documentation.

I you wish to exclude SQL, add the path where the database is stored to the exclusions. You'd generally exclude anything that you'd exclude your antivirus from.
