Extend Device Authorization - Mobile

Is there any way to extend a session on a mobile device so it does not prompt everytime it wakes up? We have placed our on-prem server behind the firewall and require mobile devices to VPN to network to use mail. When a user connects and provides an authorization for AuthPoint, it works great. If the phone goes to sleep, the VPN tunnel drops and require a complete MFA auth. While AuthPoint provides a simple push, some users still complain about having to approve every single time they wake the phone up.

Any other ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

@TDeerinck it depends on the VPN type, and if the phone is tearing down the connection when it goes to sleep.

I'd suggest using safe locations to whitelist safe areas (the office, etc) to reduce the pushes.
