Agent management issue

We have EDPR, Patch Management, and encryption installed on our domain PCs. I'm finding that much of the agent management through the console (installs, updates, etc) does not work without a user logged into the PC. Is this a requirement or am I missing something. This a very big issue as most of these agent requests are done after hours when users are logged out.

    Under most circumstances, a user should not need to be logged in. Other installs (including pending windows updates) can effectively keep the process from starting, or completing if it did already start -- a reboot usually resolves that if that's the case, as it clears the pending update.

    If you're running into a continuing issue, I'd suggest opening a support case so that our team can look into what might be causing the updates to behave that way.
