Firebox Compatibility with Unifi Access Points

Can Unifi APs be managed by the gateway wireless controller on the firebox? All the docs I've seen seem to suggest only WatchGuard APs can be paired with the firebox, is that correct?

    No other brand can be managed by a WG firewall.
    And it seems that the latest versions of the WG APs can only be managed by WG Cloud and not a WG firewall.
