How to set up email notifications for
After months with our M570, I still struggle with its convoluted alerts, notifications, and email mechanisms.
Our internet was down for 9 hours, and there've been zero alerts in WG Cloud. (Administration > Notifications > Alerts). How do I fix that? Do I need to configure something in the FireboxUI? Even though it's not a notification that should be generated by the box (because the internet would be down....)?
I want to configure WG Cloud to email me when it loses connection with our device.
Under Administration > System > Notifications, the only source=WGCloud events are audit-style events. Is "Cloud connection status" what I'm looking for?
It's a source=Device type, would it still work when our internet goes down, or it relies on the device to trigger this notification...?
Thanks

Hi @GePo
Using
Notification Source: Devices
Notification Type: Cloud Connection Status
Should generate the type of notification you're looking for
(This is in Administration -> System -> Notifications.)

This notification is generated by the cloud, so you should still get it if the device goes down. This won't necessarily detect a degraded or slow connection, but should trigger if it goes completely down.
