New to Watchguard products
Hi all, I just bought a watchguard xtm 515 and I need some help on setting it up for the first time. I have it connected to my modem, ping the 10 IP and not getting through. Can I get some help please? For a newbie, what are the steps for setting this thing up for the first time? Thanks!

Note that your firewall went End of Life on Dec 31 2020.

Usually that means that you can't upgrade it to any newer version of firmware or get support for it from WG.
Since this is a used firewall, you need to get this unit assigned to you, as you will need a Feature Key to use it to have more that 1 device get out to the Internet, and to do many other things.
To do this, you need to contact Customer Care and provide a picture of the serial bar code on your firewall and ask to get it assigned to you, and to provide you with a Feature Key.

Have you run the QuickSetup Wizard?
Note that for Mixed Routing mode, the IP addr subnet on external must be different that the one on any other firewall interface such as on Trusted.
Provide more details of what you are trying to do, such as replace an old firewall or insert this one between your modem and your PC, etc. and we can provide specific advice.
You can use the Web UI, or the Windows based WSM Policy Manager to configure your firewall.
