IPv6 to IPv4 Capabilities

Hello everybody,

I've been establishing an IPv6 network for our business to run alongside IPv4. I know the Firebox supports IPv6 and that's not a problem. However, does anyone know if there are settings for 6to4 NAT?

While I am running the IPv6 network internally, I don't necessarily want it running out into the web unless I have to. I know Cisco provides some 6to4 capabilities, but I would really like for the networks to coalesce in the Firebox and then use the firewall rules to NAT them out their correct interfaces.

If it's not possible then I will have to see if our ISPs can give us some public IPv6 addresses.

The firebox does not currently have any IPv6 to IPv4 NATing capabilities. IPv6 traffic is handled and sent out as IPv6.

There is an open feature request for this (it's FBX-4012) but there's currenty no ETA on if/when that will be available. Please create a support case and mention FBX-4012 if you'd like to follow that request -- the support rep can set the case up to do that for you.
