Intermediate Cert is Lost after an Upgrade

I just upgraded from fireware v12.7.1 to v12.7.2. I manually added an intermediate certificate before the upgrade. That cert is missing after the upgrade. I have to manually add it back in. Is that normal?

  • Well, it certainly shouldn't be.

    Perhaps an additional cert based bug?

    This shouldn't happen, but if it did for some reason, I'd suggest opening a case so we can gather more data about what might have happened.

    So it should remain intact after the upgrade? This is the certificate I manually added:

    c=US
    st=Arizona
    l=Scottsdale
    o=GoDaddy.com
    ou=http://certs.godaddy.com/repository/
    cn=Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2

    I don't recall having to manually add certificates (that I've added) after upgrading the firmware.

    It should remain, we'd need to look into why this might have gotten erased.
