upgraded AP325 firmware now it's Unreachable

I started out with:
M370
WSM 12.6.2
FSM 12.5.4
AP325 8.5.0-658

I was having issues with multiple AP's going 'Not Trusted' randomly every 7-10 days.
I currently had 6 AP325's; 1 at FwVer 10.0.0-124.1 and 4 at FwVer 8.5.0-658.

For test purposes I updated 1-AP325 to ver 8.8.3-12 and all went well no problems.
Later in the day I updated a 2nd -AP325 to ver 8.8.3-12 and it didn't go well, it finishes it's update configuration with "Unreachable".

I've tried several different steps to get this to work but nothing works, they all fail at "unreachable". Reference this post for more details:

Current config.
M370
WSM > 12.6.4_u1
FSM > 12.6.2_u3
AP325 > 8.8.3-12

My last go around I updated my firebox M370 to FSM 12.6.2_u3, WSM to 12.6.4_u1 and my AP325 appears at 8.8.3-12.

I don't know if the steps I'm using are not in the correct order of if the FW versions I'm using between my Firebox FSM, AP and WSM are not compatible but a simple update shouldn't be so hard.

    Hi @bford
    I'm not really sure what might be going wrong based of those logs - they just look like traffic from the firewall to the AP for managing the AP.

    If you haven't gotten the APs back up, I'd suggest opening a support case so we can look into this more deeply.

    Apparently when I went to post this last week I didn't hit the "Post Comment" button or it just didn't post.

    I finally got tired of climbing up and down the ladder to reset this AP so I took it down brought it to the Computer room where I could reset it while watching the logs at the same time.

    What I did this time was after doing a hard reset at the AP, after all the lights went our and the first light came back on I power cycled the AP. Waiting approximately 60 seconds between off and back on.

    That seemed to fix my problem (I'm assuming), it boot through it's cycles and came up Not Trusted. After Marking it Trusted it came up "Online" and stayed that way.
    With the ongoing exception Monday 8/13/21 it and four others were "Not Trusted" again. Marking them "Trusted" and they're back 'online'.

    It's still not really clear why they're doing this -- we'd need to dig into the firewall itself a bit more. If this continues, I'd suggest a support case.

    If you already have one open, if you can please reply with the case number, I'd be happy to track it down and ensure it's with the correct team to help with this. (The new automated case routing is pretty efficient and good at this, but it doesn't hurt to check.)

    Apparently when I went to post this last week I didn't hit the "Post Comment" button or it just didn't post.

    I finally got tired of climbing up and down the ladder to reset this AP so I took it down brought it to the Computer room where I could reset it while watching the logs at the same time.

    What I did this time was after doing a hard reset at the AP, after all the lights went our and the first light came back on I power cycled the AP. Waiting approximately 60 seconds between off and back on.

    That seemed to fix my problem (I'm assuming), it boot through it's cycles and came up Not Trusted. After Marking it Trusted it came up "Online" and stayed that way.
    With the ongoing exception Monday 8/13/21 it and four others were "Not Trusted" again. Marking them "Trusted" and they're back 'online'.

    James, thank you for your response. I also saw your other reply and I will probably open up a case on these "Not Trusted" issues.

    Apparently when I went to post this last week I didn't hit the "Post Comment" button or it just didn't post.

    I finally got tired of climbing up and down the ladder to reset this AP so I took it down brought it to the Computer room where I could reset it while watching the logs at the same time.

    What I did this time was after doing a hard reset at the AP, after all the lights went our and the first light came back on I power cycled the AP. Waiting approximately 60 seconds between off and back on.

    That seemed to fix my problem (I'm assuming), it boot through it's cycles and came up Not Trusted. After Marking it Trusted it came up "Online" and stayed that way.
    With the ongoing exception Monday 8/13/21 it and four others were "Not Trusted" again. Marking them "Trusted" and they're back 'online'.

    Support didn't have any answers at this time since it's not acting up at this time.

    All I can think of is the time frame that I power cycled the AP after the hard reset after I had taken it down.

    I thought I did that same process while it was still mounted to the ceiling but I might have waited longer (too long) after the hard reset.

    So far it's still online and I have updated the rest of my AP325's without incident.
