Hotspot
Been Asked to set up t80 so the user must log in to access the internet. Setting up hotspot seem to be the way but. when ever i add a user it keeps adding 5 random character to the end of the username. These are employee's so would like to keep usernames simple.
Anyone know how to turn this off?
Maybe there is a better way to force user to log in in order to get internet access?

Hi @mstorm
Hotspot is usually the best way to do this for guest users (think hotel guests, or guests that don't need a permeant account.)
If these are regular users, using SSO (Single Sign-On) is usually the best way to do this.

The firewall also has a manual authentication page that can be configured:

i have a question, how can i use wifi and hotspot at same time? get-vidmateapp.com get-mobdroapk.com
Hi @bezjosh99
You can set up a hotspot on any interface or vlan, so as long as you make sure you set it up on the interface/vlan that your wifi is on, you should be good to go.
