Exceptions in Body Content Types

Hi to all,

I'm a newby with firebox and I have an issue. I have a firewall which is blocking a document download... It is a MS word document (.docx extension) but is blocking it because is falling in the "ZIP archive" rule (I'don't know why)...

Is there any way to do an exception for this archives types?? Maybe in the HTTP Proxy Exceptions tab?? There I can add the url...

Thanks in advance!!

David

    Hi David,

The KB article here should help:
    https://techsearch.watchguard.com/KB?type=Article&SFDCID=kA10H000000g2vmSAA&lang=en_US

Office documents are just zip files (you can even open them in winzip, 7-zip, etc.) -- they'll always show up as such.

(Just replace the exe part with zip, they're right next to each other in that dialogue box.)

    Alternatively,
In the body content types dialogue, you can try turning off content type auto-detection, but this removes scanning for misidentified content types.
