Is there an API to access a standalone Watchguard Dimension instance?

Hi,
I only found some documentation about an API integration for the Watch Guard Cloud but no information for a standalone instance.
Background ist, that we have a central management system for all of our customers and it would be nice if we could integrate dimension into this solution. We install more and more fireboxes and at some point of time accessing two platforms for checking customer system is annoying.

There isn't an API for standalone dimension. If you're looking to access data from the dimension database, using the external database option in Dimension itself, and having it log there would be the closest thing.

Dimension has quite a few reports that it does allow the export of to a FTP server via Text or CSV files -- so if you're looking for automation, that may help.

Thank you for the answer. In our case we want to have a real time monitoring, therefore the report export is not exactly what we need. I will have a look on accessing the dimension database directly.

If you're looking for some type of alert, I'd suggest looking into email notifications via the dimension server and/or SNMP traps.
