M300 cpu pinout

Hi,

I have to replace the fan in a M300. The M300 has a 5-pin connector, but only 4 used, black, red, yellow and blue.

My question is - do the motherboard follow the standard 4-pin pinout layout?
Black=GND
Red=+12VDC
Yellow=Sense
Blue=fan speed control

    Hi @RVilhelmsen

    The fans for the rack mount appliances use the standard wiring scheme.

    I would strongly advise you to contact support and see about RMAing the device, as a fan failure would be basis to do this. Opening the seal on the device will generally lead to the device not being accepted for RMA.
