one of my test firewalls has a power switch or PSU problem.
is it possible to get spare parts ?
The majority of our firewalls have momentary switches -- meaning that the power button is a rocker switch. It will automatically spring back to the position it started in.
The only devices I recall that do not have this feature are the XTM330 and the X-Core/X-Peak series.
If it feels like there is a spring behind the switch pushing it back, it is supposed to do this, and it is operating normally.
We do offer power supplies for some of our tabletop appliances, but rackmount appliances are generally exchanged as an entire unit.
If you prefer to not renew the support contract for the device, and wish to replace any parts, please be cautioned that it is at your own risk. Many of the rackmount firewalls use off the shelf slim power supplies. The model number of this should be visible on the power supply if you open the device's case. Again, doing this is at your own risk and breaking the seal on the device may void any warranty that it had.
