I have a T-10 where livesecurity service expired in 2017. Can I update the OS with this expired? If I need to renew a license just for updating the os, what is the part number?
Yes you need an active LiveSecurity license to do OS upgrades.
The license also gets you support.
Since your last LS license ended so far back, I believe that you need a reinstatement as well as a new LS license.
Last I knew, the reinstatement is waived if you buy a software bundle.
WatchGuard Standard Support Renewal 1-yr for Firebox T10 - WG018813
No idea what the part number is for reinstatement.
Hopefully someone from WG will also comment here.
Or you can contact Customer Care and they can give you all of your options.
FYI - a T10 goes End of Life on 31 Dec 2022, after which there normally will be no more OS upgrades available for them.https://www.watchguard.com/wgrd-resource-center/end-of-life-policy
The price difference between a livesecurity licence on a T10 and a T15 with basic security is pretty minimal.. Consider a trade-in to a T15..

I do see this trade up offer:https://p.widencdn.net/sijswa/Trade_Up_Program_Overview
Here is a part number that I found for the above:
Trade up to WatchGuard Firebox T15 with 1-yr Total Security Suite (WW) - WGT15671-WW
Trade up to WatchGuard Firebox T15 with 3-yr Total Security Suite (WW) - WGT15673-WW
I didn't see a trade up to a T15 with Basic Security at the site that I looked at.
Just found this one:
WatchGuard Firebox T15 Trade up with 3YR Basic Security Suite WGT15063-WW
Best to check multiple sites on these, as on 1 site I found the 3-yr Total Security Suite option to be less than another site price for the 3YR Basic Security Suite.
