Configuration Restore - Error 511
I have an XTM 535 device that is 12.1.3.B571132 firmware. This device goes end of life in November and therefore out of support.
We have purchased a new appliance (M570) which has now arrived. I want to perform a configuration back up and restore from the old device to the new. However, when I attempt to do this I receive a 511 error.
From what I can tell from some online searches, it is because of the mismatch between firmware versions. Unfortunately this creates another problem as I can't update the firmware on the XTM535 past 12.1.3 due to the age of the device.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? I'm trying to avoid a full configuration re-write of possible.

Are you using WSM Policy Manager to do this?
If not, you must.
You need to change the model number and import the new Feature Keys in the old config using WSM Policy Manager
Then you can save the modified config to the new firewall.

Bruce's answer is correct -- you need to migrate the config. Backup/restore only works for the same device.
