Token Security & backing up 3rd party tokens
Afternoon,
We were just wondering if an option to enforce token security on the AuthPoint app. Are there any plans to allow such control using polices in the AuthPoint portal? Currently its just an option that can be enabled or disabled by the user. Having the ability to enforce it would allow for better security & best practice.
I also noticed that users have the option to backup 3rd party Tokens to a google account. Is there a future where this can be disabled for corporate devices? Or very least, allow backing up to an managed account such as office 365?
Kind Regards
Dean

I created a feature request for you to enable forcing token security on a users' phone. That ID is AAAS-12911.
Currently there is no control over 3rd party tokens, because they are 3rd party. A user with the correct activation code or barcode can activate a 3rd party token on multiple devices. Trying to restrict it at the authpoint app doesn't provide any additional security.

No worries on the 3rd party, I was more interested to see if there was an option but as long as the enhanced security is there I think that will be enough.
