Reporting on [Link Monitor] events
Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible configure specific event notifications to send to an alternate email address?
We have an on premise WatchGuard Dimension server which reports all event notifications to an email distribution list, however we have a requirement to send specific notifications (e.g. [Link Monitor] No response received on connection) to an alternative email address and wondered if anyone had managed to do this.
We were looking into using SNMP reporting and a 3rd Party utility which monitors for the event but couldn't find anything defined in the WatchGuard Mibs.
If anyone could suggest a possible solution for the above beyond setting email rules it would be most appreciated.

You could send log messages to a syslog server which has a process to identify the link log messages and send an appropriate e-mail.
