DHCP stoped working with cisco AP and vlans
Good morning, a few days ago i configured an AP with 2 vlans connected to a Watchguard XTM330. The topology is as follows:
Ap cisco RV110W ---- Dell n2024 --- XTM330 vlan port
In the AP, vlan 101 is configured with ip 192.168.101.2 and 102 is configured with 192.168.102.2 with dhcp relay to 192.168.101.1 and 192.168.102.2 (watchguard vlan gateways). I can ping both ip from the internal lan.
In the Dell switch, vlans 1, 101 and 102 are configured. With both ports in trunk mode.
in the XTM330 ,vlan 101 and 102 are configured in a VLAN ethernet port.
It was working one day and now the dhcp does not lend me IPs. With a manual ip I have connectivity, but the dhcp does not work.
dhcp snooping mode is disabled on the switch.
Where can the error be?
Thank you

For the record, what XTM version are you running?
My guess is that the DHCP daemon has crashed and not restarted.
If this is in fact the case, then a firewall reboot should resolve the issue.
You can turn on Diagnostic logging for DHCP Server, which may show something:
. Policy Manager: Setup -> Logging -> Diagnostic Log Level -> Networking -> DHCP Server
or
. Web UI: System -> Diagnostic Log
Set the slider to Information or higher
thanks for answering, i did a reboot but keeps failing. The logs are repeating this format :
2020-09-04 09:15:09 wrapper (dhcp6s) Unsupported dispatch of event: 2
2020-09-04 09:15:09 wrapper (dhcps) Unsupported dispatch of event: 2
2020-09-04 09:19:22 wrapper (dhcp6s) Unsupported dispatch of event: 2
2020-09-04 09:19:22 wrapper (dhcps) Unsupported dispatch of event: 2
and keeps repeating that
Its solved, i changed some configuration before rebooting and after tracing back the steps it worked. The reboot solved the issue.
Really apreciate the help !
No idea what these log messages mean.
If you have a current support contract, you should open a support incident.
The docs that I see show a Cisco RV110W as a firewall/router, not as an AP.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/routers/rv110w-wireless-n-vpn-firewall/index.html
How do you have the RV110W configured?
If the firewall disabled?
Is the DHCP server function enabled?
Is DHCP Relay enabled?
Glad that you got it working.
Where did you make changes?
On the RV110W?
