  • i know this thread is pretty old but i will add my 2 cents. I use wildcard to allow apt update on my debian servers (preventing access to the internet for security). It doesn't work because the DNS sniffing use only A and CNAME records, but apt use an SRV query. So i had to add deb.debian.org and security.debian.org. _Only…
