Thank you very much. I will get onto this. I am gathering that Cloud Visibility is simply part of the WatchGuard Cloud, rather than something separate :)

Thanks for the link. My Firebox is present and visible as a device in the WatchGuard Cloud, but I don't see how to configure Cloud Visibility (the online alternative to DImension). Any help here appreciated.

Currently, accessing the internet outbound using a VPN with a browser requires a device based VPN on the desktop or the mobile device from the trusted network. This may simply be how it is... but the question being asked is can we put a VPN on the perimeter of the network, so that when an internet user connects to the…

Thanks for the replies. I wasn’t sure how it would work, especially the VPN part. I can see that the commercial VPN providers can’t be integrated. Not WatchGuard related but how do people achieve a network level outbound VPN?

Very helpful. Thank you. I see the cost of the data retention licence is £415 pa for an M200 (and no cheaper over three years) which seem to be a high cost for storage in this day and age.

Thanks again Bruce

Thanks for that. This is the answer. Quite an oversight not putting this into the main WSM FB Systems Manager

This is all very helpful, thanks. I have purchased a low cost Wi-Fi range extender as suggested by ShawnD (I got a tp-link TL-WA850RE) and it seems to work well after a couple of days testing. Set it to the same SSID as the firewall wireless.

Thanks for the answers. Going down from the T70/T80, is there a point where the boxes have no fan?

Thanks again for your input. ShawnD... Do you know if the Netgear N300 Model EX2700 WiFi Extender will allow identical name for the SSID or does it add _Ext? That leads to an (off-topic?) question: how do wireless clients switch? And is there a risk of swithching back and forth between the main network and the extended…

I thought I would add the specific reason for this requirement in case anyone has additional advice. There is a Sonos network with a Sonos device in each room that obtains its IP no from the firewall DHCP server. The specific reason for wanting all devices in one IP subnet (or the ability to choose which subnet a device is…

Thank you both very much. I need to investigate and understand VLANS :)

This thread speaks to my exact situation. Limited range on T15W. I want to add a mesh based Wireless network, but need to have a single integrated network (one range of IP addresses). Does anyone know if I can add a Ubiquiti WiFi network, plugged into one of the ports on the T15W and use the Network bridge feature in the…
