Printing over BOVPN

Weird one...currently have 2 sites connected with MPLS and printing from SLES is fine, i rerouted the server to print over the BOVPN and the print fails (as a fax on a UTAX) put the route back in for the MPLS and its fine again.

No traffic is blocked everything seems fine anyone else seen anything like this?

Are the print reply packets going over the BOVPN or over the MPLS?
ie. did you change how the other site sends packets to the print server?

The gateway on the printer is the watchguard on the remote site, no routing on printer I can see but the traffic is one way

You need to change the routing on both ends to go over the BOVPN for this to work

IVe just found the route on the remote watchguard...the remote watchguard is managed externally and ive just got access after they said there is no routing - im shaking my head vigorously thanks
