Can we have Guest WiFi vouchers back please?

With the Cloud WiFi offering there does not appear to be a way of providing voucher based access to guest WiFi. This used to be available on the Firebox managed APs but now the only options are using the captive portal to do click through (no access control with that), social media sign in or webform. Those last two have varying levels of PII concerns that mean they're not acceptable to many of our clients.

The only simple method of controlling access that don't have the issues mentioned above would be PSK usage but that introduces a whole host of other problems.

So please - implement Guest WiFi vouchers in Cloud WiFi.

    Hello @GRD

    If the APs are plugged into a firebox, you can set the SSID profile to just be a normal non-portal SSID, and use the hotspot feature on the firewall if that works best for you.

    There is an open feature request (AP-366) for a voucher/couponing system for the cloud APs. If you'd like to follow that request, please create a support case and mention AP-366 somewhere in the description. The tech that is assigned the case can set that up for you.
