Policy manager slow to load configuration
Hi, when I use WSM, Policy Manager and I try to open a configuration, the load is slow, more ore less 6 minutes. If I use https portals, the load is immediately. Some idea ? There is a local cache to empty or some limits ? (I have alias with hundred of ip) Thank you.

Policy Manager downloads the config from the firewall, whereas the Web UI does not.
What firewall model do you have and what software version is on it?
How big is your .xml config file?
Mine is just under 2 MB and it loads very quickly.
How much memory is on the Windows PC which is running Policy Manager?
What is the purpose of the alias with hundreds of IP addrs?
Hi, my firewall is M500 HA with Firebox 12.6.2
The .xml is about 5,2MB
I use my laptop with windows10 and 16GB Ram.
WSM\FirewarePolicy Manager 12.6.4
My purpose is that I want to restrict rdp access to amazon servers only, so i have an alias with all ipv4 addresses. The policy is from some ip in my lan to this alias.

If you a load saved config from disk, is the load fast or slow.

If you're using policy tagging on a lot of policies, this can slow down policy manager quite a bit as it loads and prepares filters for all of them. if you are using them, try turning them off or reducing the number of categories in use.

Hi, if i disable highlighting, the load time is very fast. But i don't know what is this alert: Disabling policy highlighting will also disable the poilcy traffic type calculation.
