Connect to Management server via SSH

Looked around for a bit but thought i'd ask here if there's a way to connect via ssh to the Management server itself, like over ports 4110, 4112-4113 or other? Tried briefly but wasn't successful.

    Doubtful.
    AFAIK, you need to use the WSM Application.
    I have never seen any other option talked about, ever.

    No, the mgmt server doens't use ssh. It uses the same types of connections/commands as WSM does to issue commands back and forth.

    If you have tons of time to kill, you can look at the communications log and see what it's doing to do things as simple as open policy manager at
    C:\Users\ -username- \AppData\Roaming\WatchGuard\pm\pm.log

    The firewall itself allows connections to it's CLI via SSH on port 4118. This is a direct connection to the firewall itself behaves mostly the same as if you were consoled into the serial port of the firewall itself.

    edit: path got a little messed up because of windows variables with % in them, edited it so it's readable and displays in the response.

    Sounds good. Digging into the cli more lately, finding it a time-saver. Thanks @James_Carson @Bruce_Briggs
