VPN Random Disconnections, slow speed

We have a handfull of remote users complain of slowness and random VPN connection drops. We usually have users SSL VPN and remote to their desktop on the local network. Does anyone have any best practices for VPNs or troubleshooting. I'd say 90% are local internet connections and networks but need better evidence to show users or it could be our setup.

  • For the record, what XTM version are you running?
    If there is nothing to help understand this in your firewall logs/Traffic Monitor, you can turn on diagnostic logging for SSLVPN which may show something to help:
    In WSM Policy Manager: Setup -> Logging -> Diagnostic Log Level -> VPN -> SSL
    In the Web UI: System -> Diagnostic Log
    Set the slider to Information or higher
