Cannot connect to XTM 2
Hi there.
I've recently decided to start-up an XTM series 2 for my home firewall. After factory resetting the box, I'm getting no signal on the PC. I've also noticed that the eth1 port is not flashing on the back of the box, even though it is connected to the PC.
I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on how to connect my PC to the XTM?

Which XTM 2 model is this?
What lights are showing on the firewall?
I suppose that this could be a dead firewall port or a dead firewall.
Something that old should be considered dead even if it works.
There are risks to running ancient firmware.

What is connected to eth2?
Nothing is connected to any of the ports.
With nothing connected to any of the ports, then the link lights should not be on.
Looks like a broken unit to me.
I recommend any current model with at least Live Security so that you can keep up on the firmware.

Looking at the lights, assuming you have the correct 12v 2a power adapter, that device appears to be non-operational.
A unit like that with 6 ports would be an XTM21, 22, or 23, which has been end of life for several years. While they were pretty fast for their time, they'd have trouble keeping up with even the most basic internet connection nowadays.

If you're looking for a small tabletop device, I would suggest looking for something in the T-series, which is still supported and can run modern versions of fireware.
