Trending in Dimension

Has anyone figured out a way of trending in Dimension? It would be very helpful if we were able to compare one report to a previous report.
I was hoping to be able to connect directly to the db from Power BI.

    You can set up Dimension with an external database. It is then easier to do direct queries on the data.

    Brian - what kind of data are you interested in trending? You should be able to do this with many of the existing reports in Dimension.

    Example may be denied packets per hour/day, GAV/IPS hits per day, bandwidth usage per day/week.

    Hello Brian,

    If you'd like raw data access to create your own reports that what xxup suggested is the way to go.

    To get an overview of activity on a Firebox, check out the Executive Dashboard. You can compare data historically by adjusting your Start/End dates.
