Veeam Vault

Hi

I'm trying to restrict traffic from my Backup server Veeam to limited internet access.

I need to allow to veeam cloud vault servers.

Anyone have the full ip or FQDN list ?

I know it has to go through ports 80/443, are there any other ports needed?

Thank you!
Jean

    Hi @jeang

I'd suggest asking Veeam's support directly if you can. They will likely have the most up-to-date list of what FQDNs their services need to connect to.

  • You will need to allow DNS from the server.

You could add a DNS proxy From: the internal server IP addr To: Any-external or an internal DNS server.
Then on the DNS proxy action -> Query Names, set the default to Allow & Log.
You should then see DNS queries from the server in your firewall logs, which should show any FDQNs being accessed.

  • That's clever, thank you
