    Hi @eichenadmin

I'm not sure what that error means without any context.

    If it keeps happening:
-Open Firebox System Manager, and navigate to the status report tab.
    -Click support.
-Define a place for a support log file to save to, but don't hit retrieve yet.

Now, go back to policy manager, and if you can get the error to generate again, do that.

As soon as the error pops up, back in the Firebox System Manager window, click Retrieve. The support file that is generated also contains error data about WSM. The information in that file should help diagnose what's happening.

Please create a support case via the support center at the top right of the page. Please attach that support file to the case.

  • I figured out where it came from and I think I understand what's happening, but the error message could be a bit more descriptive
    1. Load policy manager & make a change to anything
    2. File --> Save --> select the 'always create backup' option
    3. Save to the firebox (by whatever method), but give it a completely new filename.

It seems to be trying to create a backup file (with date + time filename modification) of a file that does not exist. If you use an existing filename in step 3, the saving process works fine.

  • I have no issue saving backup files with date + timestamps. I have hundreds of them.
Seems that you must have something on your PC which is blocking the saving of these files with new names in the location specified.
