Export Authpoint password manager

Hello,

Following the announcement of the end of life for the AuthPoint password manager, I need to transition my company to a new password management solution.

I would like to know if there is a way to export all the data stored in AuthPoint. While I have found an option to export private tabs, I am unsure if it is possible to export the corporate tab in the export menu, I am unable to modify or select the password list for export.

Thank you for your help.

    Hi Thomas,

WatchGuard decided to not allow the export of corporate credentials due to security reasons. You can still extract it but its via copy/paste. Here is the KB

  • I understand the security concerns, but it should be possible to export all passwords, including those in the corporate section.
When you have more than 50 entries in your corporate vault, transferring them one by one becomes a real pain. Could you enable this feature as it seems to have been planned? Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a greyed-out and locked dropdown list in the export form.

Since the service is being discontinued, it would make sense to provide an easy way to transfer data to another platform. This would greatly help users during the transition.

    Hi Thomas,

After reviewing your request with the AuthPoint product organization, unfortunately, we are unable to provide an export capability for the private/corporate vault of credentials. We are in the development phase of decommissioning the vaults in mobile and browser extensions, as we are under 60 days away from the end of life.

You will need to copy and paste your corporate credentials as stated in the above KB.
