SSLVPN and Authpoint with Linux
Hello everybody,
I started migrating my private computers from Windows to Linux.
Now I need to connect our companie's network using SSL VPN. We use Authpoint.
With Windows I used OPENVPN, which worked fine.
But using openvpn3 with linux, after entering username and password I get my Authpoint push request again and again.
Is there any recommended program that works properly under this conditions?
Thank you and kind regards from Germany

Hi @Markus_NF
If the push request is happening over and over it may be the SSLVPN (openVPN) client asking for it. We'd need to see logs from OpenVPN to know for sure.
I'd suggest opening a support case. You can do so via the support center link at the top right of this page.

I thougt, that openvpn initiates the connection and the push request is initiated by the Watchguard Firewall.
It would be nice, if Watchguard would publish a separate Client for Linux like they do with MAC OS...

Hi @Markus_NF
The client is at least partially responsible for the push request. It depends on how exactly you're authenticating. Opening a support case so that our team can take a look at the OpenVPN connection logs would assist in determining what is going wrong.
There is an existing request for a Linux SSLVPN client via FBX-23033, but this request is not on the SSLVPN roadmap at this current point in time.
