Access Portal |Reverse Proxy

Hello,

has anybody an example-config that will work with reverse proxy?
Can i use the same (base-)url for access-portal and Proxy-URLs?
i.e. The portal is accessable via "intranet.domain.de", Exchange owa external url is "intranet.domain.de/owa" ?
For me, when i fire up the proxy-config that will not work. (shows an 403 error from the firebox, no access to the portal.)

Must i use an other hostname for the reverse proxy, and then, should this dns-name point to the same ip than the access-portal or an other ip (secondary network or ip) on external interface?

thank you
Silvio

    Hi Silvio,

For OWA, you'll want to use the reverse proxy wizard you see when you try to create one -- as it'll walk you through the steps to get the configuration to work specifically with that service.

You'll want to use a domain name, as that's required for the reverse proxy to work.

If you're running into issues with the setup, I'd suggest creating a support case using the support center button in the top right of this page. A technician can take a look at the configuration and logs with you to help and determine the issue.

    Thank you,
