multigig ports on m690
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a trick to get the mutltigig ports on the m690 to go active.
I've tried connecting them to both a 1Gb RJ45 SFP and a 10Gb one and no life. The 1Gb works fine connected to any other port other than the two mgigs. It says it supports 1/2.5/5/10, but will it only work connected to a mgig switch and it doesnt like sfp's?
thanks.

My guess would be something doesn't like your SFP Transceivers. A hardware or speed incompatibility most likely. Darn things can be finicky sometimes.
It's usually something simple.
Hi @Abertay
What interface module are you using?
(About Modular Interfaces)
https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-US/Content/en-US/Fireware/networksetup/modular_interfaces_about.html
These interface modules are available only for the Firebox M290, M390, M590, and M690:
WatchGuard Firebox M 4 Port 1Gb Copper Module
WatchGuard Firebox M 4 port SFP Fiber Module
WatchGuard Firebox M 2 Port 10 Gb SFP+ Fiber Module
WatchGuard Firebox M 4 Port Multispeed (1/2.5/5G) Copper Module with PoE
The SFP+ module that works with the M4600 specifically has the marking 10G/1G on it. See page 8 of the hardware guide for your M4600:
