Miracast isn't working when SSLVPN clients is installed

I have the problem when I connect to a projector via Miracast with a client where the Watchguard SSLVPN client 12.2 is installed, this does not work. When I uninstall the client it works. I hope someone has a solution for me.

  • This does not work even when the SSLVPN client is not connected ?

  • Yes also when the SSLVPN cient is not connected

  • There is a WG SSLVPN service.
Does stopping this service resolve the issue ?

  • Unfortunately not.

  • Best to open a support incident on this.

    Hi @Daniel_P30

Like Bruce mentioned, this is probably best handled via a support case. You can open one using the top right of the page's 'SUPPORT CENTER' button.

Please let the technician know in that ticket (because they'll likely ask:)
-What type of wireless card you have (if you know.)
-What OS/version of that OS you're running. If you're running windows, you can get that quickly by pushing win+x and going to system. In MacOS, go to apple -> About this mac.
-If you have any other VPN software installed (like OpenVPN, anyconnect, etc)

    Thank you,

  • Hi @James_Carson thanks for the informations. I'll try this and let you know.

  • Hi @James_Carson srry it wasn't the SSLVPN client but the internal firewall that had to handle it.
